Risk Management (RM)
Saad Specialist Hospital recognizes that identifying and managing clinical and non-clinical risks is essential to improving patient care. Risk Management has an overall strategic function within Saad Specialist Hospital as well as dedicated operational responsibilities. Individual departments and clinical managers share responsibility for implementing risk management strategies and programs in their departments, but RM identifies areas of actual or potential risk pertaining to overall safety and security. It aims to prevent, as much as possible, injuries and infections to patients, visitors, and employees, as well as financial loss and damage to Saad Specialist Hospital’s corporate image. It also works to identify and prevent occurrences that result or have the potential to result in potential litigation or liability; and to minimize the risk of re-occurrence.
Information Management is a process of regularly aggregating data and information from various sources within the organization and analyzing them to provide relevant, timely, accurate, and consistent feedback to Saad Specialist Hospital management for appropriate decision-making and strategic planning.
Infection Control undergoes the surveillance, prevention, and control works to identify and reduce the risks of acquiring and transmitting infections among patients, staff members, contract workers, volunteers, students, and visitors.
