The Department of Medicine’s physicians provide comprehensive services for patients over the age of 14 years. Together with its sub-specialty clinics, it provides a 24-hour service for emergencies, as well as a complete on-site diagnostic testing service for common illnesses and complex problems. Diagnosing and treating health conditions that require prompt attention; conducting physical examinations and performing screenings that may detect conditions in an early stage of manifestation. The department provides care for both acute and chronic conditions that include scheduled and emergency cases.

By grouping the various sub-specialties under the umbrella of the department, cohesion of care is ensured when patients are referred between sub-specialties clinics.
